The real risk
Your gear doesn’t break on stage. It breaks on the way there.
Torn grilles. Cracked cabinet corners. A mixer that took a knock in the bakkie and now has a dead channel. Damage rarely happens during the show — it happens in transit, in storage, and in the twenty seconds a case gets dropped off a tail-lift.
A generic bag bought off a shelf doesn’t fix that, because it wasn’t made for your equipment. We measure the actual box, the actual handles and the actual pole cup — then build around them.
In transit
Loose gear shifts, rubs and takes corner knocks on every trip. Foam cut to shape holds it still.
In storage
Dust, damp and hot weekends in a back room. Covers and sealed cases keep it clean and dry.
On the tail-lift
Ball corners, extrusion and hexaboard panels take the drop so the electronics don’t.
What we build
Hard cases. Soft bags. Anything in between.
Six product lines, one principle: everything is made to order around a specific piece of equipment.

Measured, not guessed
Built to the millimetre. Not to the nearest size.
A cover 20 mm too big lets your cabinet rub for the whole trip. So we measure the equipment itself — height, width, depth, handle recesses, pole cup and connector panel — and build to exactly that. If we’re unsure, we measure again rather than adding tolerance and hoping.

Why clients come back
Most of our work is someone’s second, third or fifth case.

Made to measure
Built around your exact equipment, not the nearest standard size. We measure the box, the handles and the pole cup.

Road-proven materials
Hexaboard and ply, aluminium extrusion, proper hardware, closed-cell foam. No corners cut on the parts you can’t see — those fail first.

Days, not weeks
Most builds leave the workshop inside a week. Imports take six to eight — before customs decides otherwise.

Workshop-direct pricing
You pay for materials and craftsmanship, not a distributor’s margin. No importer, reseller or showroom between you and the bench.

In their words
The best review is a repeat order.
Most of our work comes from clients ordering again. Here’s what a few of them said.
“We had them build a matched set of rack and mixer cases for the fleet. Same spec across all of them, delivered in under two weeks. Quality stands next to the imported cases we’ve been buying at twice the price.”
Sipho N.
“I’ve torn through three off-the-shelf bags in two years. The Motion Bags covers have been on every gig since March and still look new. The pole cup and handle openings mean I don’t even take them off.”
Thembi S.
“Our equipment gets moved by whoever’s available on the day, so it takes a beating. They measured our tops and subs and built covers that anyone can get on and off in seconds. No more scuffed cabinets.”
Thabo M.
FAQ
Straight answers.
Hard case or padded bag — which do I need?
If you carry the gear yourself, up stairs or into a car, a padded bag is lighter and faster and handles scuffs, dust and weather. If it travels in a trailer, gets stacked, or is handled by anyone who isn’t you, get a hard case. Plenty of clients run both. Tell us how your gear travels and we’ll recommend — not upsell.
How long does a build take?
Most builds leave the workshop inside a week. Panels, extrusion, hardware and foam are kept in stock, so nothing waits on an import or a customs queue.
Do you deliver outside Johannesburg?
Yes. Collect from the workshop in Dube, Soweto, or we courier anywhere in South Africa.
How much does a custom case cost?
Every build is priced on size, materials and hardware, so there’s no honest “standard” price before we see your dimensions. Send the model or measurements and you’ll get a fixed, written quote — usually the same day.
Do you repair cases and bags you didn’t build?
Yes — any brand. Latches, castors, handles, panels, zips, seams and re-foaming. Assessment is free. See repairs.
Send us the dimensions. We’ll do the rest.
Most quotes go out the same day. WhatsApp us a photo of your gear, or fill in the quote form — either way, you talk to the person who builds it.
