Home Flight & Road Cases

Flight & road cases

Flight cases built around your equipment.

A flight case has one job: absorb everything the journey throws at it, so your equipment doesn’t have to. Ours use the same construction principles as the top case houses internationally — built here, to your measurements.

Hand-built flight case with aluminium extrusion and ball corners

Construction

Built to ATA 300 construction principles.

The build the airline-freight specification describes — and what lets a case take repeated freight handling rather than a handful of trips.

9 mm phenolic-faced panel

Hexaboard or ply, chosen for the load and the weight budget.

Aluminium extrusion

Rigid aluminium edges that lock the panels together and seat the lid.

Riveted steel ball corners

Take the drop off a tail-lift so the panel doesn’t.

Recessed butterfly latches

Flush hardware that won’t snag or shear off in a stack.

Recessed spring handles

Fold away when you’re stacking, pop up when you’re lifting.

Foam sized to the contents

Holds the equipment without movement — the whole point.

Equipment shipping cases

Machinery, instruments, prototypes and demo kits.

Pricing

What it costs.

Every case is priced on size, materials and hardware. There’s no meaningful “standard” price — anyone quoting one before seeing your dimensions is guessing. Send us the equipment model or dimensions and you’ll have a written quote within 24 hours.

Size

Panel area drives material cost. A 4U rack and a sub case are different builds entirely.

Materials

Panel thickness and type, foam density, and whether you need a lightweight build.

Hardware

Latches, castors, handles and stacking dishes each add cost — and each earns it.

Interior

Cut-to-shape foam takes longer than a simple lined interior.

Quantity

Repeat runs of the same case come in lower per unit.

Extras

Branding, colour matching, dividers, cable wells and lockable latches.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can you build a case for equipment you’ve never seen?

Yes. Give us the make and model, or the outer dimensions plus handle and connector positions, and we build from that.

Do you build to airline freight standards?

Our road cases are built to ATA 300 construction principles — 9 mm phenolic-faced panel, aluminium extrusion, riveted steel ball corners, recessed butterfly latches and recessed spring handles, with foam sized to hold the contents without movement.

How heavy will it be?

A case adds weight — that’s the trade-off for impact protection. If weight matters more than crush resistance, ask about a lightweight panel option or a padded bag instead.

Can you match cases we already own?

Yes. Bring one in or send photos and measurements, and we’ll match the construction, colour, hardware and stacking dimensions so new cases work alongside your existing fleet.

Send us the dimensions. We’ll do the rest.

Most quotes go out the same day. WhatsApp us a photo of your gear, or fill in the quote form — either way, you talk to the person who builds it.
